Over 20 years ago a taste of New Zealand brought Heather to Hawke’s Bay to buy a farm. But it was her first taste of a Feijoa that defined her future and set her on her current path.
With a passion for a flavour that is both unique and delicious, she started by planting nearly 2,000 trees. While her organic fruit is always in high demand, Heather wondered how to prolong the availability of feijoa beyond the short, intense growing season.
Moving to the Hawke’s Bay from Berlin my kids didn't know feijoas. This was until we discovered Heather's Feijoas freeze-dried feijoa wedges at the farmers market, my two girls inhaled both bags within minutes. Since then we always have them at home as a healthy snack, to put into lunchboxes or for on the road. I am so happy we found Heather's Feijoas since I can give them to the girls knowing it's super yummy and healthy at the same time.
